Besides the department has contributed a lot in Govt. exchequer by providing huge revenue of the Major as well as Minor Mineral wealth of J&K State.

Mineral Resources :

There is a wide scope of Mineral Resources in J&K State. The important minerals are Limestone, Gypsum, Dolomite, Quartzite besides building stones like, Slate, Marble, Granite etc.


Industry potential :
