The Department provides various services in fields/disciplines which are given as under:

• Geological exploration of Minerals, rocks and Gemstones.

•        Exploration of Groundwater and its development.

•        Exploration and developments of production wells for Groundwater resources.

•         Engineering Geology assignments/projects feasibility Rports.

•        Exploratory Mining.

•        Exploratory drilling by way of diamond drilling, Rotary/Reverse Rotary drilling besides, percussion methods of drilling.

•    Grant of Mining Leases for Minor as well as Major Minerals.

•        Grant of Quarry License (QL)/Short Term Permit (STP).

•        Implementation of Act and Rules governing Mineral Concession and Amended from time to Time.

•     Issuance of Mineral Dealer License for Trading of Minor Minerals by different individuals.

•       Implementation of MM (D&R) Act and Rules made thereunder for development and regulation of mines and minerals in the state.
